What you need
EZVIZ is Hikvision's consumer brand. It uses the same RTSP protocol as Hikvision professional cameras.
- EZVIZ camera on your network
- Camera credentials (set via EZVIZ app)
- EZVIZ app installed on your phone
- A PanoraCast account
Step 1: Enable LAN access
Open the EZVIZ app, select your camera, go to Settings > LAN Live View. Enable it and set a verification code. This code is your RTSP password. The username is 'admin'.
Step 2: Find the camera's IP address
In the EZVIZ app, go to Device Settings > Device Information to see the IP address. You can also use Hikvision's SADP Tool (EZVIZ devices are detected by it) or check your router's DHCP list.
Step 3: Copy your RTSP URL
Same format as Hikvision cameras:
# Main stream
rtsp://admin:[email protected]:554/Streaming/Channels/101
# Sub stream
rtsp://admin:[email protected]:554/Streaming/Channels/102Step 4: Add to PanoraCast
In your PanoraCast dashboard, click 'Add Camera', select 'EZVIZ', paste the RTSP URL, and test the connection.
Troubleshooting
Common issues:
- RTSP not working — Make sure LAN Live View is enabled in the EZVIZ app
- Wrong password — Use the verification code from the app, not your EZVIZ account password
